  • Overview:
An exploration of psychological space through the shift from ambient stillness to rhythmic overload. This piece is a study in timbral density and spectral power.

    The Process:
The intro was crafted using a "minimalist hardware" approach, synthesized exclusively on the Elektron Analogue Four. By using slow LFO modulations and analogue noise sources, I created a hybrid sonic landscape that blurs the line between natural and synthetic.

    The Evolution:
The track eventually breaks into high-velocity Jungle and Breakcore. I focused on granular slicing and multilayered percussion transients to create a sense of controlled disintegration, where the rhythm itself becomes the structural motor of the work.

  • Overview:
A techno composition grounded in the emotional aftermath of personal conflict. This track uses layered low-frequency design and rhythmic pressure to translate tension into a physical listening experience.

    Technical Focus:

    • Kick & Bass: I designed a dual-layered kick—one for sub-energy and a second for distorted mid-range aggression—complemented by a multi-stage processed "rumble" bass.

    • Sound Design: A highlight of this track is the use of a Spectral Resonator on a funk piano sample, transforming a harmonic element into a percussive, metallic timbre.

    • Manual Expression: The acid bassline (Serum) features manual level riding to ensure the dynamics feel human and evolving rather than static.

  • Overview:
A sonic experiment inspired by the stark clarity and architectural stillness of the Icelandic landscape. The goal was to find the resonance in geology through reduction and simplicity.

    The Process:
The track is built upon a pure 40Hz sine wave base layer. I used Surge XT and granular synthesis to create textures that mimic the friction of glaciers and the density of northern fog.

    Technical Implementation:
By utilizing automatic EQ curves and shifting pan rates, I simulated a sense of "slow geologic motion." The use of polyrhythms allows the sound to co-exist in a logical yet unpredictable way, moving from minimalist composition to a spiritual enlightenment of sound.

  • Overview:
"Cally" examines the relationship between urban memory and the sonic environment of Caledonian Road in London. It’s a piece that recontextualizes everyday transit sounds within a contemporary electronic music framework.

    The Process:
The foundation is a continuous 2-step drum pattern generated by the Elektron Syntakt, chosen for its hybrid digital-analog grit. I integrated site-specific field recordings—captured at Caledonian Road Station—to act as a "sonic marker."

    The Result:
The interplay between hardware-generated percussion and the rhythmic grammar of the Piccadilly line creates a sense of "urban mobility," turning a daily commute into a club-oriented soundscape.
